This booklet is quite curious. It features designs for the Parkway Central Library, including detailed floor plans, which were created by Black architect Julian Abele in the office of Horace Trumbauer, whose name is on the cover. We would guess the booklet was given to dignitaries at the library's opening, but it is dated 1926, a year before the library opened. Perhaps it was more of a promotional prospectus? In any event, it is extremely rare. We've never seen this piece of ephemera for sale, however there is a copy at the Historical Society of Pennsylvania.
